After three year of Technical training Gary found himself in a industrial machine shop for ten years.
Building engine was apart of that ten years in the off hours and weekends. It started with engines for himself but quickly turn into most of the engine work was for others.
Drag racing was a way of testing and improving on his engine skills.

Winning of races turned into Championships at the local dirt track. This made buying a Auto machine shop in 1989 a great move.
Twenty years later not a year has past that there isn’t championship winning teams running Dunsworth engines at the dirt tracks. Never leaving behind the drag racing, road racing street, boat and mud trucks engine work.

Getting to this level would not have been possible without employees able to duplicate the skill and desire for helping race teams meet there goals. Something Gary Dunswoth is the most proud of!
